... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am to noon
EST Tuesday...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am to noon EST
Tuesday.

* Main impact: roads may become slick due to freezing rain and
sleet. Travel may become difficult.

* Accumulations: up to one tenth of an inch of ice and sleet
accumulation possible.

* Timing: freezing rain and sleet are expected to begin around 3
am and overspread central Indiana through the morning hours.
Warm air moving into the area will allow all precipitation to
change over to rain by noon. The Tuesday morning commute is
likely to be slowed at times by slick spots on roadways.

* Other impacts: some areas may be especially slick with
freezing rain falling on existing snow pack. Additionally...
existing snow may clog street drains and cause flooding...
especially in low lying areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of sleet or freezing
rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
