A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 am EST
Thursday.

* Main impact: accumulating snow may make travel difficult at
times especially this afternoon into early Thursday morning.

* Accumulations: 2 to 5 inches are expected by Thursday morning.
Areas from Brownstown and Seymour east through North Vernon may
approach 6 inches. 1 to 3 inches are expected in the Bloomington
and Columbus areas.

* Timing: snow is overspreading the area this afternoon and will continue
into early Thursday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
